Battle Orders!

FOLLOWING the decision by developers to press ahead on a Greenfield site with a massive traffic generating mixed use estate, SCAR has decided to gather up it's troops to fight them.

This battle will decide the fate of an ancient droveway known as Titnore lane, west of Worthing in West Sussex. This lane, that unfortunately links the A27 and A259 trunk roads, has for many years been used as a 'rat run' between those 2 roads by those eager to avoid using the Angmering bypass and cut 2 miles off their journey.

Already at capacity and now faced with 20% increase in traffic from this planned estate and other developments, local residents fear the lane will be massively upgraded and it's importance to the cultural history of the area trashed.
