A27 Worthing - Lancing Consultation

Starts July 19th 2017.

Many will by now either have received the Highways England letter or know from another source that the long awaited A27 consultation starts on Wednesday, July 19th. Yet even before the doors open the objections are already rolling in.

First up was why is this consultation being held when so many will be on holiday and at a time when residents' groups have difficulty booking meetings venues at short notice. Then of course there is. Why aren't there any exhibitions being held in Findon Valley or Durrington. when both areas are expected to be affected by any works when the town centre won't be. Maybe of course the powers at be expect the Town to suffer as traffic is diverted there as work disrupts the A27. Comments best made to: Sophie Hartfield A27 project manager, sophie.hartfield@highwaysengland.co.uk

From all accounts attendees to the exhibitions (list below) will be encouraged to decide there and then on the option they prefer. However we would strongly advise you only to take away the available literature, read it carefully and wait for us to receive professional advice on it. We will then publish on this site exactly what the affect of each option will be on Worthing and Lancing .

Clearly if you have or know anyone with in depth skills on Traffic Data or Pollution please get in contact here

Worthing and Lancing Deserves Only The Best. Not the Austerity Option.
